i was asked by the lovely Zivile to come as a model for a hair cut. I completely trusted her and her amazing colleagues, and i am very glad i did! i had such a lovely time, great coffee and a lovely head massage. 10/10 experience!! i am so happy with my hair cut, cannot recommend this place enough!

Gill is a very talented stylist. I arrived with what can only be described as a hair disaster and Gill quickly worked his magic! He was so experienced, professional and friendly. The large, airy building is relaxing and because of its size, you don’t feel all hot with blow dryers and chemicals. The hair wash was lovely with a great head massage included. Thank you and see you next time!

Great service! Dror did my hair and definitely saved it! also, I did my nails there. The woman was so nice and did a great job! I do normal nail polish it lasted two weeks, and the shape with amazing. The staff are very nice and make sure you’re comfortable all the time.

Had my hair cut and a blow dry by Dror today. I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome, just what I was hoping for coming in, he’s super talented and the staff were welcoming. The salon itself is stunning, probably the most beautiful salon I’ve ever been too. Highly recommend.

Visited the salon roughly 3 months ago with my mum and due to life getting in the way it slipped my mind to leave a review at the time but better late than never as the service is exceptional and the salon is beautiful, calm and relaxing and all the staff are really lovely and welcoming. I had my hair coloured by Antonia who gave me exactly what I wanted, sun-kissed caramel highlights that are very flattering and have grown out naturally over the summer and a haircut by James who is one of a kind. His haircuts are nothing short of perfect and has given me a dream haircut every time I have seen him that I didn't know were possible for my chaotic curly hair, I always leave with a completely different head of hair than I went in with!
It is lovely to visit a salon that you can completely trust with your hair and not have to worry and just enjoy the experience!
Will definitely visit again soon!

Absolutely the best salon in London! Dror did an incredible job with my haircut , it turned out stunning. The products they use are wonderful, and the staff are true experts who know everything about hair. If you're looking for exceptional hair care from professionals, this is the place to go. The salon itself is beautiful, set in the charming High Street of Hampstead, making the entire experience even more delightful.

Vakrat is the most beautiful salon with the most incredible team!

I’ve been going to James Galvin for 10+ years and couldn’t recommend him more. Not only is he a delight to see, but he’s also the most talented hairdresser - he’s transformed my hair from dry and damaged with great haircuts and expert advice for out of the salon too. He knows what looks good, he lives and breathes hair and I trust his judgement implicitly.

To add to the mix, the hair wash/head massages at Vakrat are by far the best I’ve ever had.

It’s rare to go to a hair salon that feels calm, but the Vakrat experience is an all round delight and I couldn’t recommend visiting the salon and putting your hair in James’ hands more!

He not only has an incredible eye for detail, but he also has a knack for understanding exactly what his clients want and need.
