I go there every month and although I love how my nails turn out I do think that there’s some opportunities in certain areas. I always book an appointment and most of the times I get my nails done with Tammy or Kelvan, you would think that since you booked an appointment you won’t have to wait, well that’s not the case. I booked an appointment with Tammy once and when I got to the salon she had just begun working on someone else’s nails, she came up to me asking if I could come back later -about 3 hrs later and I said that I would rather reschedule the appointment for another day because I already had plans for that evening. That kinda made me feel like not wanting to come back but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and go the next day like Tammy said.
On July 29th I schedule an appointment with Kelvan to get my nails done, when I get there he was working on someone else’s nails, again not a big deal but I think they can communicate that and text you that they’re running behind or something since they have your phone number from when u book the appt. Anyways, I get there he has already working on someone else and I asked for how long I had to wait and they said 20 minutes, I ended up waiting for about 45 minutes… my nails turned out amazing but I was kinda upset at the fact that I had to wait for 45 minutes instead of 20 like they said. I appreciate honesty and people being up front with me when it comes to things like that cause I don’t like to play with my time.
Again, I booked an appointment with Kelvan on August 25th to get a full set, I get there and he was already working on a customer, I asked again, how long is it gonna take until he’s done and they said 45 minutes, which at that point I was already irritated cause it wasn’t the first that has happened. So I decided to get a pedicure in the meantime and wait for him to be done, Nancy was done with my pedicure and I go to Kelvan to get my full set, while doing my nails I felt like he was in a rush and just wanted to be done. I understand it was a Sunday and it gets busy but your customers keep your business running so I feel like you should take care of them.
I love urbane nails, I love their technicians and their work but I don’t appreciate having to wait for 45 minutes or having to reschedule my appointment every time I go there.
