It was my first time here and getting a Gel Manicure. This place was recommended by my friend and it did not disappoint me. Very professional, polite and warm hearted staff and the place itself has the relaxing ambience. Highly recommend this to all the lovely ladies out there. My services were offered by Amy and she is lovely. Also, please do carry cash as they take tips only in Cash.

Finally getting around to a review - I have been going to Platinum nails for about a year, and Amy is the nail tech I recommend. We worked on several different iterations of wedding day nails, and we finally landed on these! Amy is a careful tech who makes sure that you are comfortable, and she is also efficient, not taking too long, but quality work. I also had my sister and husband go to the salon for pedicures, and they loved it!!
The nail techs are considerate and good at what they do. Also, it doesn’t hurt that the manicure tables have iPads to watch Netflix while you’re getting your nails done. Big fan.

I have been coming to platinum nails for years and I have always loved this place. Unfortunately this time I had a different nail tech and had a horrible experience. She rushed the whole appointment and she over drilled my natural nail down to where it cut my cuticle. I always get dipping powder but this time everything was rushed and messy. Sad because I really loved coming here.

Absolutely wonderful first visit for our mother-daughter mani/pedi time. We were a few minutes early to select our nail polish colors and were immediately greeted warmly and offered to be taken back at the same time and seated together. They immediately brought us infused water and a cup with complimentary crackers and cheese. My mother was assigned Tina and I was assigned Cindy. Both were very pleasant, professional, thoughtful, helpful and did a wonderful job. I enjoyed hearing Tina checking in on my mom throughout the service and striking up nice conversations with her. Our massage chairs were enjoyable, as was the light massages on the feet, legs and hands. Check in and check out was easy as well. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back. Thank you.

Mary and Ann have both taken such great care of me! They are both so sweet and always making sure your nails are just the way you would like them to be! I love coming here. They always offer snack and drinks! They always make sure you’re comfortable! 10/10 recommend

Came here to for manicure fill-in and gel pedicure. Am a repeat client who spends above $115 each visit and tips between $10 and $20. The fill in was done with incorrect color, improperly blended and nails were coming off and chipping after 2-3 days. I came back with hopes that it could be fixed but they wanted to charge me $35. Me stating they lost a customer may be insignificant at this juncture but there is a culture at these establishments for techs to love bomb you with compliments to ensure they are tipped well. I tip well even when they do the bare minimum otherwise then you’ll get stereotyped as a bad tipper because people have their biases. Even when you come back and address the issue politely and professionally you’re gaslit, isolated, and made out to look “angry”. It’s not just our current economic climate as to why this establishment has downgraded their refreshments and increased pricing, people are tired of the service they’re receiving and when the service is aesthetically halfway decent, customers can smell that the “kindness” is not coming from a genuine place. We keep coming back to this places accepting this behavior. I wish more people would stop reaching down into their wallets and continuing to support it

I have been a loyal customer to my Frederick nail salon. I needed a nail salon closer to where I live now. From all the reviews I had to check it out. This is my second time and I made an appointment with Joy. She was amazing. So down to earth eye to detail offered me a cheese cracker plate and they had wine for drinks. Very relaxing clean environment. A place I want to enjoy after work when I want to take care of my self. Disclaimer this photo these nails are a week hold and I work in hospital. I got dip manicure.
