There are many positives at this salon, first of all my technician, Monica, is superb at her job and caring, I give her 10 stars. The place is very clean with pleasant decor, 5 stars. However, there are not so great things. The pedicure chairs are very upright without a give and force your knees to bend quite a bit. This was particularly uncomfortable for me because I am recovering from a back injury, but even if I wasn't, I would like to be able to lean back or have a deeper chair to really relax. At check out there was a sign that 3.99% is added to the charge on a credit card, and it's the same if you use a debit card. I would have liked to known that at booking so I could bring cash. And lastly, there's a tip share policy, which I'm not crazy about because the tip amount is customers choice, based on the quality of the service and serves to reward a great service. A higher salary is the way to reward all your employees by the employer, not tip share.

Wife went there today. Staff did not listen to her and cut her nails when she didn't want them to. Lost all confidence in them and left before her pedicure. My wife's nails are relatively fragile and hard for her to grow, so she is very distraught that they cut them without asking her.

The management of this place is quite possibly the worst I have ever seen. I really liked Emily (who is no longer here - good for her for escaping) so I put up with it, from the fact that they almost never answer the phone (which will be clear as you hear the phone ring off the hook the entire time you’re there) to the numerous times she would be “double booked” when I showed up, leaving the two customers to awkwardly decide who gets the appointment. It is obvious from the other reviews that this is an ongoing issue for them with no end in sight.

Today was the final straw, as I showed up for a pedicure appointment with Emily only to discover she doesn’t work at this salon any longer and they had accidentally booked it with a different Emily. Okay fine, whatever. Except they then told me that this Emily was ALSO double booked! It’s so unbelievable it’s almost funny - or at least it would be if I hadn’t booked a babysitter for this pedicure and will still be stuck paying her for absolutely nothing. A very kind and apologetic nail tech offered to do my pedicure for free, but at that point I was just absolutely done. Every time something like this happens they blame it on a “new scheduling system” but this has been going over for well over a year and it’s clear from the reviews that I’m not the only one.

Sadly, I cannot recommend this place until they manage to do what every other salon in the nation has already done by (1) hiring an actual receptionist and (2) figuring out how to use a scheduling program.

I always love coming here for just some self care time. It’s quiet and peaceful. Each technician is careful and gentle. The prices are great and so worth it. The most amazing part is if you leave an voicemail, they actually call you back within a reasonable time to book your appointment!

The employees here were the sweetest people! They were gracious and helpful, and the salon is spacious, welcoming and very pretty. My manicure turned out beautifully, with lovely extras like a hand massage. They were attentive and careful, and really took all of the extra time necessary to do a great job - terrific experience.

First time user. What a lovely place and a wonderful manicure! The decor is amazing- so relaxing and pretty, without any big chemical smell- very friendly, warm service, and an excellent manicure. LOVED the paraffin treatment. I have short, bitten nails and dry, overgrown cuticles, and I appreciate that my manicurist tamed those cuticles nicely without being super-aggressive in pushing them back. I feel like my nails were pampered rather than manhandled, and my hands are so soft now. I already booked my next appointment!

In love with the concept and the service at Magnolia's. Been there once so far and never experienced such warm and friendly service from the onset. The owner (Carter) made sure I was comfortable, and the staff was awesome. The pedicure was the best I've had in a long time, and felt glad to learn that all the products used were natural and healthy, and tools sterilized. I am glad to have a place which has changed my concept om manicures and pedicures from not just changing the polish but ascertaining that nails are healthy, so close to home.

I’ve gotten a pedicure here before and it was great, unfortunately my review is about their customer service and treatment. It recently took me 5 calls and 2 voicemails until I was finally able to speak with someone. I called on May 4, May 12, and then three times on May 17 trying to make a nail appointment for a special event. My calls were never returned and the manager basically said he’s sorry but there’s nothing he can do about it because they are fully booked now. I was told if I had called two weeks ago I could have an appointment, which I did. I asked to speak with the owner and was told that I might get a call back from him on Sunday (4 days from now) but if I don’t then I can call back on Sunday and try again because he is a very busy man. I think it is unfortunate that this is how they treat their customers.
