This place has everything you could want- beer, alcohol, a fresh sub making location, a buffet, and a Starbucks. In addition to all the normal amenities of a standard grocery store.
And it’s huge.
Unfortunately I had a bad experience and will be choosing not to return.

Watch your receipt. Found many items priced one way on the shelf, and on the receipt listed, the price is different. Brought this to the attention of staff. Did not receive any c corrections. Just advised they would look into it.

This Ingles in Mars Hill has really went down hill. I've heard the manager speak to employees awful. I've found mice droppings on shelves. The deli is a joke. You're totally ignored by those workers. I waited 20 minutes to order a platter for a party, and when no one helped me I left. As I was leaving I told the manager and she said, "oh well, I guess I can take the order." I left, went to Publix, was helped immediately. Seems to me corporate no longer cares about customers, just money.

I wanted to give a shout out to the manager Felicia, who helped me when I got overheated and offered to bring me some water or Gatorade which she did. She also even offered to get my last couple of items but after she offered me something to drink I could do it myself. This is why I love Ingles!

Yea so I don’t know if anyone else has this problem (just kidding I know several people who have) but the two employees that work there and where the full face mask (I believe them to be a couple) have consistently cut dirty looks at customers, will go WAY out of there way to not help anyone. And overall are just very rude, I personally feel unwelcome everytime we see eachother and it’s been a repeated behavior. Along with the absolute downhill slope this store has had in the past few years the two of them have made a repeated attempt at mean mugging customers and it’s beyond old. I really hope they turn things around soon but honestly with the incredibly rude (and let’s face it lazy) staff I don’t see that happening.

Holy hell these stores are THE worst! The, prices are insanely high! Makes me wonder if they even sell anything or if it all goes into the dumpster when it's out of date!? Check out they're SALE price on a danish! Ridiculous!

Good grocery store. Surprisingly good selection of specialty items given some remote locations. Get Ingels card to get the best prices and deals. Very friendly and helpful employees.

Why does the Mars Hill Ingles have a giant Trump sign on their hill? Ingles should stay out of politics. I don't live in Mars Hill but I now question giving my business to any Ingles location.
