I had the best experience at Gloss Nail Bar. I was sat in a timely manner and the overall customer service was excellent. The salon was very clean and beautifully decorated for the holidays. I got Gel X Almond nails and they turned out beautiful! My nail tech took her time selecting which tips best fit my individual nail beds, and paid attention to detail throughout the manicure. I also got a pedicure, which was excellent and relaxing. The services were not rushed but also didn’t take a long time so I was in and out of the salon within an hour. They did my nails and toes at the same time. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning!

I had a terrible experience at The Gloss Bar nail salon. The nail technician hurt me during my appointment, and my finger became severely swollen, turning purple and blue literally upon leaving the salon. I had to see a doctor that same day, because I felt like my finger was going to go numb, who confirmed that the salon caused trauma to a nerve. When I went back to show them my finger the next day, they promised to refund the money for my nails, cover my doctor’s expenses, and any future costs related to my injury.

However, they never followed through. They asked for a doctor’s report, which I provided, and told me to come in to pick up a check. When I made the trip (which was already an inconvenience since I don’t live nearby), the check wasn’t ready. They’ve continued to ask for more information, stalling the process and ultimately have not paid any of the promised money. It's been over a month and my finger still hurts, and this entire process has been extremely frustrating. Their customer service has been unprofessional, and they’ve made false promises. I would not recommend this salon to anyone.

$220 later with a 20% tip to have subpar nails. I had a migraine during the first service and came back the next day to have them cut down and reshaped. The tech that did my nails was so annoyed she let me leave with these terribly shaped nails and buffed off all the chrome I paid for the day before. All while having a really bad attitude and throwing my hand around. I had to go in a third time and have the manger redo them while he was trying to defend the terrible work the first tech did. I even asked if they could just take them off and refund me because I was not happy with them at all and he said no. The only thing they offered was 15% off my next set which I will not be coming back. Go to Milano West U for Gel X instead. This place is over priced and gives subpar work at best. Posting what I asked for, which is literally a picture of my own nails vs what I walked out with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd time. Terrible experience.

I’ve been going to Gloss since they opened in 2020. I go to Sophie for nails and Julie for pedicure.
Sophie is amazing with nail art, and can recreate any design I ask! I have really thin nails and skin and am overall really sensitive to pain, so it’s important to me that my nail tech is conscious of that and is very gentle and careful. Sophie has been just that: I never have to worry about any discomfort with her. She always exceeds expectations with the nail design, and I’m so glad I found someone I could trust to do a great job every time.
Julie is just the sweetest cutie patootie and you can tell she genuinely cares about her customers (she will remember things about her returning customers so you always feel so good coming back to her!). She also gives the absolute best massage: so I always make sure I get some extra massage time with her. For a while I would only go to Sophie for nails and have whoever is available for my pedicure, until I met Julie, now she’s my go to girl!

I’m a native of Louisiana and when I first moved to Houston, I was literally going back home to get my nails and toes done every few weeks. I tried four other nail salons in Houston before finally finding my home at Gloss Nails. The staff is super friendly and attentive. I feel confident, knowing that my technicians will take their time and ensure that my nails and toes are both done perfectly. The ambience is second to none. You have a customer for life!

This is the place to go if you want quality service. I've been a customer for two years and it's the only nail salon that I go to because of the ease of making an appointment and the care that the Technician put into making sure that you're satisfied with the service you're paying for. Plus, they have car valet service. Love, love, love this nail salon.

My favorite place to have my nails done in Houston. I can tell they’re the best so far since I have tried a lot nail salons in Houston. Since I found out Gloss Nail Bar through Instagram back in 2022, I’m stuck with them until now because I only trust them to do my nails. Han, Sophie, and Kay are my favorite nail artists here. Their designs are always on points ? Yall can check out the videos below for all designed I have done. They’re always fully booked so reserve your spot in advance through the link on Google. As I rememberd, all appointments before 1PM on the weekday will have 10% off. Every $1 you spend will get you 15 points towards your rewards.
