Chelsea Alexandria
3/5
I need to update my review since it is now 4 years old & I’ve been countless times since.
Not all were perfect experiences but not all bad either, but I will say I think I’m done there now. The owners did change last year, but I liked the new staff. However I have noticed I am almost never happy if I get my nails dipped. Maybe my expectations are just too high? But my daughter wanted her toes painted white with silver snowflakes which was apparently impossible & they had the gall to inform us that snowflakes are normally white. So I said okay can you do white & then they said only if we had done gel polish because the literally didn’t have the white nail polish to paint a design on top
of regular polish…which if they could only paint designs on top of gel toes then I wished someone had said that when I told them what we wanted at the desk before we started. They ended up putting stickers on her toes to try and remedy the situation but she and I were both unhappy at that point but trying to grin & bear it.
While this is going on my nails are being done while I’m distracted & I’ll attach pictures of what was deemed good enough to the guy that did them I guess. I fixed them the best I could when I got home because it was so awful and not an almond shape at all. I didn’t ask them to fix the snowflakes the guy did or the bumps in the dip (that’s because the dip spilled and he actually swept whatever contents he could from the ground back into the jar) because I didn’t want to be hostile or further ruin the vibe of our night and it was late around 6:45 when they were finishing. Somehow I was even bleeding. It was awful all the way around.
Love Amy & Don who do pedicures but maybe I can find somewhere that I can love everything.
