I have been a loyal customer of Saguaro Nails Bar for years, following the owner from his previous workplace to his own salon. The moment you walk in, you are greeted warmly and the salon smells amazing. Although the owner was not available to do my nails on my recent visit, he assured me that his colleague, Miss Van, would take care of me. And she did not disappoint! My nails turned out exactly how I wanted them, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. I highly recommend Saguaro Nails Bar to anyone looking for top-notch nail care. Thank you, Miss Van, for your excellent work!

I have been here 3 times. First time was great, 2nd time not so good. The techs bf/husband showed up and was obnoxiously talking to her the whole time and my gel set looked like bulbous frog toes. The last time I went was May 22nd. I had an engagement the next day and not much time. I thought I would try with a new tech. I ended up with 2 girls. The one who did my hands took a total of 10 minutes at most and my nails and cuticles looked horrible. She was not friendly and more concerned with texting on her phone. The one that did my toes was at least friendly but my cuticles and polish were a mess!!! A 10 year old could have done better. They offered to redo them but at that point it is way too awkward and I would rather just let others know. The polish didn't cover my nails fully and was chipped before the end of the day. I had to go to another place early the next day before my commitment.

Awful experience. Nail tech made me bleed my design looks terrible. Would not recommend. I have gone here twice. The first time all my nails began chipping and breaking within a week. The second time I showed a design and was told it could be done. It could clearly not because it looks terrible. Had to pay over 60 dollars each time only to get them redone each time immediately.

I recently visited the nail salon for the first time and had a rather disappointing experience. Initially, I planned to get a new set of acrylics, but since my natural nails were long enough, I opted for a gel manicure instead. Unfortunately, my nail technician was quite rude and dismissive of my requests, often insisting they weren’t possible and pushing alternative options. It seemed like he was either being lazy or trying to upsell me.

During the session, he filed my nails too aggressively and used the wrong tip on the dremel, resulting in uneven shaping and inconsistent lengths. The polish he used was either old or improperly shaken, leading to a lumpy finish with air bubbles. I’ve attached pictures for reference; I got these done just yesterday. It’s frustrating how many nail techs fail to listen to their clients’ preferences. I know exactly what I want and what I like, and this experience did not meet my expectations at all.

UPDATE

A representative from the business called me directly to apologize for my experience at their establishment.

I accept the apology. I informed him, I would consider giving them another chance. Based on we all are human and things happen.

I reiterated that customer service and how you treat people should be at the forefront.

In conclusion, this was my experience with this business. Your experience may be different. Take my review as fit. And don’t be discouraged to try this place out for yourself.

ORIGINAL POST (below)

I gave this place so many tries. I’m now over it. They rush and are rude. They pick who they want to be nice to and I’ve seen them talk to ppl rude., including myself. The owner and the male nail techs that sit up front (Austin and the other guy ) are condescending. They talk nasty about clients in their native language. I have recorded them and asked my friend to translate . They are nasty and don’t like Americans.
I recently went and got a mat black polish and immediately when I got home and washed my hands the pant was chipping away. I went the next day to get them fixed and again the same thing happened.
Throughout the fixing of the nails the owner was rude as if this was my fault. Handling my hands so rough . Throwing on the cuticle oil on my knuckles , missing my nail beds completely. I wanted to cuss his a$$ out but decided to just handle this situation a different way.
I will never go back. They feel so entitled because their business is booming and lack customer service. They see ppl as a dollar sign and they don’t like Americans/ certain groups of people . Ive watched and heard them say so.
I hope they realize anything can be taken away from them at any given moment.
The first 3 pictures are from the first appointment. The following 3 pictures are the second appointment.

DO NOT GO HERE! The first picture is my reference photo. Normally I do my own gel x nails but I am a new mom and I just wanted to treat myself to some nails that I didn’t have to do myself. My nails are filed down WAY too far on the sides, pointing at a 45° angle, and the French is NOT good. I was cut on different fingers 6 different times. My fingers are throbbing as I typed this. It took 2 hours and $70 for this hack job. I’m really upset and plan on going back to ask them to fix it or at least give me my money back because $70 for this is absolutely ridiculous.
