Amazing, beautiful, clean and friendly. I was soooo happy and relaxed being here at this spa. My masseuse was named Lisa and this was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. The staff was friendly and even gave me a Happy Birthday card with a refreshing drink after my massage. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience. I’m coming back again and bringing friends.

Relaxing spa in the city with great amenities. There’s a steam shower in the locker’s room and lounge chairs in the pool area to relax in. Service was great and everything was very clean and organized.

Treated my mom for a 90 minute massage here; she had a great experience and found the ambiance to be very relaxing and clean. The front desk / service staff and masseuse were kind and attentive. Would love to check out this place for myself one day

Mixed experience. My wife had a wonderful facial, but there were small things that could be improved. Beautiful and unique environment with wonderful and exceptionally professional staff. They were wonderful. She very much appreciated not being pushed to buy products toward them end of the facial with up selling, as most do toward the end of the treatment. However, the cleaning staff was so noisy and intrusive within the spa area that the experience was variable. Though simply doing their jobs, the environment was disrupted with the activity and could be timed more effectively for when patrons have left the room. Another improvement would be to allow husbands (me) to sit in the bar and order a drink to wait for my wife. “Bar is for hotel guests only, I’m sorry” was the greeting. So, I had to leave the space and sit in the lobby if I wanted to have a beverage. Granted, I’m being childish, but I went down the street for a nip instead. And, to be fair, I was wearing a baseball cap during United Nations week, so I may have been best suited to a bar than a lounge, but still, I had expected to have a relaxing time waiting for my wife but then had to move on to a location I was welcomed. Perhaps we’ll visit again, we are local, but perhaps we test a few more locations before we do so. Shibui is recommended, of course.

Unbelievably relaxing oasis in the heart of the city! Had both a facial and massage — both amazing. The pool is definitely worth coming a few minutes early / staying after your service. Everything was clean and serene. Highly recommend!

Great spa experience. I got the omakase facial. It was truly tailored to my skin condition. Service was amazing. Can’t wait to come back for a massage.

An oasis in the middle of hectic NYC. The pool area is so relaxing and tranquil. Extremely clean and staff super attentive. Had an incredible massage by Stan. Beautiful Japanese robes to relax in. Attentive Japanese style lavatories also! Will spend the whole day there next time!

I'm just extremely disappointed, everything was fine until I went for the massage itself.

My girlfriend and I arrived at the appointed time, we were greeted well and taken to the recreation area with a swimming pool. It was very nice, warm and cozy there. But it is worth noting that the water in the pool was cool. Then we were invited for a massage. I ordered the "Relaxing Elemental Massage". As soon as I started going down the stairs, I noticed that the room was cool. Then I walked into the room and then it started.

The air conditioner made noise like a subway train and it was very cold, I immediately asked to turn it off and make it warmer. the girl couldn’t cope with it and simply took out a small heater, which clearly couldn’t handle it. Then she started giving me a massage which was far from relaxing. She pressed unpleasantly on the points and worked only on one side of her back for the first 10-15 minutes, when she switched to the other, I asked not to press, she apologized and asked “that’s better, are you expecting this?” I was shocked! I expect to receive a professional massage from a person in a place where I pay $300 and not questions and stress. Plus this air conditioner that screams under your ear and there is no question of relaxing at all. There was a desire to just get up and leave, I don’t know why I didn’t do this. I told the reception about everything and they gave me a discount, even though I warned them “it’s not about the money,” I’m ready to pay the full amount, I just want real good service for the money. any granny in Thailand or a regular salon in Chinatown for $80 will offer you the best service. And most importantly, my fear was confirmed when the next morning I woke up with a fever from a cold. Obviously a change in temperature from warm and humid to cold and dry can cause this.
