Had such a bad experience in here yesterday not from the area and badly needed my BIAB removed and went in and chanced on I had a man do my nails he took one off one nail and left me and went too deal with 2 other ladies so he was dealing with 3 of us at once one being a pedicure client he didn’t have a word of English none of them seemed too and they all just communicated away with each other ignoring the clients. The machine he used to take off the polish was very cheap and as he did so it just didn’t feel right and started to burn and was quite painful. Then he proceeded to cut the nails very badly and then tried to file the nails but because he didn’t cut enough nail away I had to make him stop and get up and leave because it was just to painful
It was definitely the worst experience I’ve ever had and still today feel completely in shock that people are allowed to work under these circumstances in this day and age so please save yourself a bad experience and do some proper research before choosing a nail salon in Tralee trust me this place is absolutely a big fat no from me!!!

I have gone to HAU Nails on two occasions and have had negative experiences both times. The first time I had booked an appointment for 4:30pm and I didn’t get seen to until 5:45pm (1 hr 20 min wait). The woman (long black hair) did not offer any apology when I told her how long I had to wait and simply ignored me when I said it and began working on my nails.

I didn’t say anything further and assumed this attitude was a once off however, on my second occasion going there, I asked for a certain colour but it darkened when it was cured under the heat lamp, so I asked the same woman if I could change the colour as it had darkened and no longer matched the colour that I picked out. She responded extremely aggressively and told me that she can’t do anything about the colour changing and if I don’t like it she will remove all of my nails and I could go. I advised her that I didn’t want to remove it nor was I blaming her however it was clearly a different colour than I asked for and all I wanted was for her to put another shade of orange over it to brighten it up. She then responded saying she wasn’t going to do it as I had already taken up an hour of her time (time which I had booked in advance and was paying for) so I could either leave it as it was or else she would remove them all and I could leave.

Another woman had come in for an appointment and after waiting 20 mins for her appointment she simply asked if she would come back or continue to wait there and the same woman shouted rudely across the salon at her telling her to wait. Both times I have been there they have been running 30mins-1hr late and have been extremely rude to customers when they question how long they have been waiting.

Very poor behaviour from them. I understand they are under pressure as it is a new business and they are short staffed but they constantly over book their appointments and are rude to customers when they highlight how long they have been waiting. To tell a customer that they will remove all of their nails after sitting there for an hour and that they are taking up their time just because they asked for a different shade of polish is horrible. Will not be returning!

Excellent use of efile, I had BIAB done lasted 4 weeks fast and efficient with huge range of colours and designs. I also had full pedicure spa also excellent ? I would absolutely recommend and have returned. Well done to all involved.

Walk in and have your nails done. There was no waiting time. Staff were very professional and extremely efficient at their job. It's not too pricey, but it is worth every cent to spend time with my teenager ♥️
