I got horrible service today! My nails came out so bad I almost cried! I booked for builder gel and a basic French, my nails came out so thick they look awful! I’ve kept going back in hopes the service would improve but I keep accidentally booking with one technician that always is bad…I constantly have to leave the salon and attempt to file my own nails bc I think she does not know how to file at all! Not to mention she made me feel rushed and not relaxed at all, she also kept going on her phone while doing my pedicure and cut my toe! I ended up paying 128 after my service today and I definitely won’t be returning! What was supposed to be a relaxing self care day turned into a nightmare! And now I will have to spend another 50+ dollars to get them removed and fixed! I am so horribly upset right now, as I was looking forward to relaxing and feeling pampered getting my nails done, but that is far from what I got sadly! I also already have a chip on my nail! I would give 0 stars if I could! I will include pictures of my nails currently! On top of that I was not offered a refund or for them to fix it! But honestly with that service I don’t know that I would even trust for them to fix it! Unless it was the manager! Extremely disappointed and upset

The time it took to get my nails and feet done. If I got them done in one day, it would've taken 3 hours... if I got a polish or design on my nails it would've taken 4 hours. I was scheduled for an appt for a level 1 or 2 design when I requested a level 5. My nails are lumpy. I'm completely disappointed with the amount my husband spent to have mine and my daughter's nails done and for them to not look the way we wanted. The staff were all very pleasant, but the service itself... never again!

I got a training manicure today, the staff was all very friendly and welcoming and my nails came out beautifully. Courtney paid so much attention to detail and really took the time to make sure that I was happy with everything!

I have been very frustrated for my recent services in this spa. Since this summer until now everytime I did my manicure in Essex, I got upset. My nails either chipped or the gel polish cracked within 2-3 days every time, the problem for me even more that when I am try to fix my cracked nails, the other nails start to crack, and all those was under their one week warranty. What kind service that I have been trapped
Honestly, inline my asthetician; Everytime, this incident happened, I told myself that next time will be good, but unfortunately one service after another the same result repeat. Enough is enough, i could not hold up any more, las Sat, Dec 7. 2024, I picked up my phone and I called their headoffice, I talked to their owner, I told her very clear, I need solutions, and fix those cracked nails is not solution, and I also told her that I don't prefer to put bad reviews unless their is no solutions. She apologized, and she promised that she will call me back as soon as she talks to her store manager. 6 days after, I haven't even recieved an apology call. With these kind attitude, I really do not care anymore.
2019 when I moved from Waterloo to Essex I became their regular customer. Every 5 weeks I do my pedicure every 6 weeks I do my manicure over there, and never stopped. Beside I am certified asthetician as well, I extractlly know where is the problem.
The reason is that they use very cheap low quality nail polishes to maximize the profits. when I don't have time, I do my own nail; my nails have never ever cracked as what they have done as professional.
They waste my time, I paid full price to get the worst services; it's really night mare. In conclusion, they are not only betraied my trust, but also wasted my time and at the same time they risked their own reputations.
When I looked up their review, I found that I am not the only one who had those bad experiences, there are a quite numbers of customers just like me as victim of those bad services.
I hope everyone speaks of their bad experience in this 2 waves beauty bar, so we can get their attention, and at least they should apologize to us and provide compensations....

The technician (Julies M) I had was so kind and considerate to my needs. She had client care and was so friendly.
The knowledge and her skill is top notch. I've been to many salons and she is the best by far! I took her cards and will be referring out to her to my friends, family and in my clinic.

Facility was clean and hygiene was top priority next to my experience as a client.

Appointment was the 11th and so far the nails are holding up. I work labour and they usually chip by now. So far amazing ?!
Hoping they last until my October appointment!! ?

Third time here and every-time has been great except this one. The aesthetician who did my service was very kind hand sweet but my service was horrible. My nails were long almond shape and she asked to keep the shape? I said yes but a bit shorter. This lead to my nails now being short & square. She was able to make them a bit round but nothing like almond. There was absolutely no manicure at all, my hands are dry and I really require my cuticles to be cared for, no cuticle cream, pushing them down or cutting them, straight to polish… disappointing. At this point I could tell she felt uncomfortable for me saying something about the shape so I didn’t mention the lack of manicure. The polish job is just horrible, I have polish on my skin, my cuticles, my skin is cured to my nails, and the polish job is not clean or precise just all over horrible. I now have to go somewhere else to have them fixed some how. I wish I could add a picture to this review. I will be sure not to book with her again, more training is definitely needed.

I have been looking for a salon that does nails with care and also very knowledgable. Eva took her time and told me what she was doing and how it was going to help my natural nails grow and get healthy again. PLUS the decor and the vibe is on point! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
